A Collection of Cheetah PicturesHere is my collection of Kenya cheetah pictures. There are 800 cheetahs on the prowl in Kenya making the country one of the leading cheetah habitats in the world. ![]() A portrait of a cheetah in the Masai Mara National Reserve Cheetahs are, along with African lion and leopards, part of the "Big Cats" that Kenya is fabled for. Unfortunately, they are also Africa's most endangered cat as cheetah populations are on a steady decline on the entire African continent. In contrast to leopards which have a rosettes against a white coat, cheetahs have fawn coats with solid spots and a distinctive black tear line. These cats prefer open grassland where they can identify and stalk their prey with ease... They are therefore a common sight in many Kenya national parks such as Masai Mara National Reserve, Amboseli National Park, Tsavo National Park, Samburu National Reserve and even Nairobi National Park which is a stone's throw from the city center. Cheetahs are some of the world's most solitary animals. But they are also some of the most family-oriented in the animal world. Hence, these cheetah photos consist of either solo cheetahs or mother with their cubs. Enough intro.
