Hilton Nairobi - One of the Popular Nairobi Hotels
"Nairobi Hilton is Centrally Located and its Security Alertness is First-Class"
Hilton Nairobi hotel's beige cylindrical tower is one of Nairobi city's unmistakable landmarks.
One of the well-known Nairobi hotels, it is part of the Hilton chain of hotels that has carved out a reputation for offering some of the best amenities to travelers in every corner of the globe.
Hilton Nairobi is located right across the National Archives and 5 minutes' walk from the Kenyatta International Conference Center, Kenya's premier meeting venue.
It is also a reasonable distance from a number of Nairobi tourist destinations...
These include the Nairobi National Park which is home to lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalos and countless other animal species, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust which runs a nursery for orphaned baby elephants, and the Giraffe Center.
Accommodations
The Hilton Nairobi hotel provides a wide range of accommodations that fit the needs and budget of many travelers.
Visitors can choose from traditional guest rooms which are fitted with the virtually sound-proof double glazed windows that keep the hustle and bustle of the city out of your room.
For families or guests on an extended stay requiring more living space, the suites with their separate living, dining, and sleeping areas might be a more appropriate choice. Guests can also choose to stay in deluxe or executive rooms.
Note though that the higher the altitude, the pricier the rooms. This premium rewards you with quieter rooms and panoramic views over the city of Nairobi.

What Guest Disliked
- The fraying chairs, mattresses, carpets, stained tiles and sanitaryware, old telephones and dated gym equipment all point to the urgent need to undertake major renovations of the hotel's facilities.
- Owing to its state, some guests felt that the rooms were overpriced. To compound this, many guests felt that the internet charge of US$ 30 per day or Ksh. 1,000 per hour was rather steep.
- The rooms overlooking the adjacent bus stop are noisy throughout the night denying some guests a good night's sleep. In addition, some of the rooms have paper thin walls. You therefore run the risk of unwillingly listening to your neighbor's TV program all night.
