Mombasa Weather
The Weather in Mombasa is Warm and Gorgeous Virtually All Year Round
Mombasa weather is gorgeous virtually all year round. Mombasa's beautiful tropical beaches, palm groves and unique tourist attractions can be enjoyed all year round.
Need a Doze of Sunshine?
Because Mombasa is sunny, warm and humid most of the time, it is great place to head for fix of sunshine away from harsh winters...
Sub-zero temperatures always dampen my spirit - it is cold and gray, the trees are bare and there is no sunshine. Mombasa is a great place to escape these dreadful wintry conditions and get yourself a skin tan.
Best Time to Visit
During the months of December to March, you can experience some discomfort from the heat and humidity.
April and May are the rainiest months although the "short rains" occur in October and November.
You are assured of 8 hours of daylight over the entire year although the wet months are rather cloudy. However, if you want to make the most of your safari, it is advisable to avoid both wet seasons.
That said, planning to visit Mombasa does have its advantages though...
The vegetation is remarkably lush and, because this is not the tourism peak season, the cost of accommodation and other items is appreciably down. The Mombasa hotels are also less crowded and the hotel staff less harried and friendlier.
